She's opened up for various artists including the late Chuck Brown, Kindred The Family Soul, and hip-hop pioneer Slick Rick. The Greater Washington Urban League presented the 39th Annual Whitney M. Young Jr. Memorial Gala on March 16th. Honorees included Washington, D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray and City Council Chair Kwame Brown. Award recipients included Howard University President Sidney Ribeau, Assistant vice president of Government, International and Community Relations George Washington University Michael Akin, and Sonia Gutierrez, founder and CEO of Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School.
